I keep reading alot of different information about storing credit card details etc. My client wants an e-commerce site, but due to the nature of the products they dont want to process the card payments
automatically as they have to check stock levels in a shop front first. To do this surely they will have to store the details including the CVV2 as well? but this isnt allowed as far as i can see. How does someone
go about manually processing a card if they cannot store the CVV2 number
Also how do websites like amazon do new orders without asking for card details if they dont store them?
